Free Choice The environment is set up to encourage development of the skills children are working on. Children move freely around the room using their own curiosity to explore, experiment and observe. Children are encouraged to work independently or in small groups in areas that include, dramatic play, table toys, blocks, puzzles, language arts and playdough.

Circle Time The children gather together to share news, tell and listen to stories, reflecting the theme of the week.

10:20 - 10:30 |
Snack Time We provide a snack. Children are encouraged to demonstrate manners and are encouraged to clean-up after themselves.

Art Time Each child is encouraged to explore different art mediums, creativity and freedom.

Music & Movement Children develop large and small muscle coordination as well as an appreciation for the arts through singing, playing instruments, fingerplays, listening and creative movement.

11:30 - 12:30 |
Lunch Time During lunch we encourage conversation along with being a polite listener and practicing good manners. The children are helped in cleaning up and packing away their lunch materials.

12:40 - 1:00 |
(Pre-School) Friendship Time During this circle time our focus is to help children develop social skills. We emphasize belonging and friendship, cooperation and compassion.

1:00 - 2:00 |
Large Muscle Children may pick from a variety of large muscle activities such as slides, climbing apparatus, wheel toys, riding cars, sandbox and a trampoline. When the weather is very nice in the fall and spring, we use the outdoor playgrounds.
