What is the d6 Family Challenge?
These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Deuteronomy 6:6-7
Since the days of ancient Israel, God has called parents to make faith a priority in the family. To help parents in this primary calling, we have offered the d6 Family Challenge to families with children going into grades 2-6 next fall. We believe that participation in education, worship, and Camp Wapo are key faith-building elements. We believe so strongly that this participation can strengthen relationships in families, in this faith community, and with Jesus that we are offering incentives in the form of 2009 camp subsidies to families who are willing to take this "Next Spiritual Step".
