Food Packout

Oct. 31-Nov. 9, Chapel 

We did it!  With the help of almost 4,000 volunteers, we packed 1, 026,432 meals in 10 days.   

Thank you for the wonderful response from Calvary membership and the community!

Thanks to everyone who came and packed for 2 hours, 4 or many!  We could not have done this without incredible volunteers.  There were a number of terrific strong-backed adults and youth moving the finished cases (4,752), filling tubs with rice and other ingredients: others worked as line supervisors, and Calvary staff put time in to make sure that one million meals will make their way to hungry kids. 

Thanks to everyone who worked, donated funds, prayed for this pack-out, and spread the word among friends and family.  It has been a truly amazing 10 days in this community and everyone involved, no matter how large or small their contribution, should be proud of the work they did to make this happen. Thanks again!

Kids Against Hunger will supply the high-nutrition ingredients. Calvary and other community organizations will provide the funding, people and prayer power to prepare one million meals.

Food Packout Needs Funding

Kids Against Hunger prides itself on providing nutritionally-complete meals at a very low cost. But even a mere 13 cents per serving adds up quickly. That’s why Calvary has committed not only to organizing volunteers for its Food Packout but also to underwriting the total cost of the meals assembled. Make a difference in the lives of hungry children across the globe--make a donation!
