About Alpha

Alpha is a 10-week course on the basics of the Christian faith. Alpha is for everyone--all ages and backgrounds--and especially:

   * Anyone interested in investigating Christianity.
   * New members of Calvary.
   * New Christians.
   * Couples recently married or preparing for marriage.
   * Christians who want to brush up on the basics.

At Alpha, you'll learn answers to some of the most important questions of the Christian faith:

   * Who is Jesus?
   * Why did Jesus die?
   * Why and how should I read the Bible?
   * Why and how do I pray?
   * Who is the Holy Spirit?
   * How can I resist evil?
   * Why and how should I tell others?
