Current study: "The Centrality of Scripture" (June 2-Aug. 25)
At a time when truth seems increasingly difficult to find, the 21st-Century Christian must look to one place for guidance: God’s Word. Whether we’re facing anxiety, struggling with laziness or simply trying to be a better spouse, God’s Word offers a wealth of wisdom and encouragement. Using podcasts from "Truth for Life," we'll learn from Alistair Begg who emphasizes the centrality of Scripture as it reveals God’s character, purpose and plan for the lives of His children. With an identity rooted in what Christ accomplished on the cross, believers can confidently share the Word of God and help the perishing come face-to-face with their Savior.
Iron Men offers a great opportunity to connect with others on issues men grapple with every day: leadership, marriage, parenting, work and personal integrity. Doors are open early for doughnuts and coffee. Bible study begins promptly, followed by small group time to help us apply what we learn and grow vital friendships.
If you have to miss for some reason, each session stands on its own, so plan to attend when you can. Come early, grab a doughnut and a cup of coffee, and when it is time to leave, you’ll be glad you came.

Prayer Warriors stand on the front lines of what God is doing each weekend at Calvary! Guys, you are welcome whether you are already a seasoned Prayer Warrior or just getting started in prayer. We welcome newcomers who are interested in this ministry.
Prayer Warriors pray before and during each worship service for requests of the congregation. Each prayer warrior commits to one Sunday morning per month to:
* Pray over the pastors and others involved in worship that day. This prayer takes place at 7:20 a.m. in the Sanctuary. * Devote one hour of worship time to pray for worshipers and over the prayer request cards collected in worship. Prayer Warriors gather in the chapel on 2nd floor to pray over the cards during the morning.
No extensive experience in prayer is needed to become a prayer warrior. The only requirement is a desire to grow your faith through prayer. For more information, contact Pastor Carol Skjegstad by e-mail or at 763.231.2983.
