As Christians, we have been made new in purpose – to love God and one another, and to lead others to Christ. And by the power of the Holy Spirit we offer our gifts of time and talents, graciously given by God, to give Him glory and to do His work.
Join us as we acknowledge God as the giver of all gifts and reflect on the ways our giftedness has impacted our lives and others by entering Calvary’s 17th annual Art Show themed “Blessed to Be a Blessing”. Visual artists, both members and friends, are encouraged to contribute up to two pieces, whether photography, painting, drawing, sculpture and calligraphy using such media as oil, acrylic, watercolor, ceramic, metal, glass, textiles and wood. Register your artworks by Monday, March 12.
Included in the exhibit will be pieces by Gretchen Quie (1927-2015), former First Lady of Minnesota and accomplished artist whose passion for creative expression continues to communicate the love of God in her works of everyday life.
The exhibit is free and open to the public.

All Christians are artists, in the sense that God calls us all to creatively entice people to discover more about Him. Join in, then, to craft visual expressions of the Gospel message as we create crosses, pointing people to His ultimate gift of love. Using a variety of medium - yarn, watercolor, beads, even palm branches, all ages are invited to attend this free workshop.
