* Service Project Details

Families Moving Forward: Several times a year Calvary hosts families in transition. These families are spending the evenings and nights at Calvary for a week at a time. The weeks they are here we need help with making and serving dinner or breakfast, play with the kids and talk with the adults in the evening, sleep over night with the families, help set up or take down the bedrooms and gathering space. Project appropriate for children and adults.

Feed My Starving Children: Pack nutritional meals for children around the world. Project appropriate for people over 5 years old.

Habitat for Humanity: Come pound nails or do other construction work or help with food by adopting a day with your small group or preparing, donating or serving the food at the site. Project appropriate for kids over 16 with an adult or adults.

Global Health Ministries: Help pack truck, collect items for midwife kits, or help sort in the warehouse. Projects can be appropriate for all ages.

Kinship: Mentor a young person to help build their self esteem.

Loaves & Fishes: Help serve a meal once a month to people from the River of Life neighborhood. Many options on how to help: make the food, set up the tables, serve the food, interact with the people, or help clean up. You can help out as a one time event or help monthly. Project appropriate for kids over 10 and adults.

Lutheran Social Services: Work with the Housing Coordinator on projects such as outdoor clean up, making birthday boxes for the residents in transitional housing or many other options. Project appropriate for all ages.

Plymouth Christian Youth Center: Spend a couple of hours on a Saturday afternoon serving popcorn to neighborhood children and families who come to PCYC to see a children's movie. Stay and see the movie. Project appropriate for all ages.
